Jon Colwell, professionally known as JonnyOneThree, is an Indigenous Canadian contemporary artist from The Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation whose work explores the intersection of fine art, tattoo culture, and modern fabrication. Through original paintings and meticulously crafted dimensional acrylic work, he reimagines iconic imagery into bold, collectible pieces that balance nostalgia, craftsmanship, and contemporary design. Influenced by tattooing, pop culture, music, and vintage Americana, Colwell has developed a distinctive visual language defined by confident line work, vibrant colour, and graphic composition. His work celebrates the timeless power of iconic imagery while pushing it beyond its traditional context into contemporary fine art.

Every dimensional acrylic piece begins as an original concept and is personally designed, engineered, precision laser-cut, hand-finished, and assembled by the artist. By overseeing every stage of the process—from sketch to fabrication—Colwell treats craftsmanship as an integral part of the artwork itself.
